Our goal is to partner with our community in meaningful ways that also enrich our patients’ experiences. One of the ways that we do this is by working with local galleries to feature artists from the Chicago area. Our eco-friendly dental office also reflects our endodontists' passion for the environment and is in the process of B Corporation certification. From paper-free charting to chemical-free sterilization and radiographs, we’re committed to keeping Deerfield beautiful for future generations. We’re also always looking for new ways to get involved in Deerfield, so never hesitate to let us know if you have any ideas on how we can do this!

Sustainable Dental Office

To give our facility the smallest carbon footprint possible, we have:

• 1,200 sq. ft of windows so we use more natural light/less electricity
• LED lighting
• Low VOC paints
• Flame retardant-free furniture
• Digital radiographs instead of chemical X-rays
• Sterisil dental water filtration system, reducing waste and chemical use
• Reverse osmosis drinking water system, eliminating bottled water needs.
• Steam sterilization over chemical alternatives
• Fully paperless charting and communication
• Use of non-toxic, EWG-verified cleaning products
• Use of Energy Star-rated appliances
• Office-wide recycling and sustainable paper products

Emmy Star Brown is a Chicago-based muralist and painter. For this mural, she filled all the walls of our x-ray(CBCT) room to create an uplifting backdrop to maximize impact using cool, calming and comforting tones. Some color choices were pulled from our brand colors (greens, neutrals & gold!), with the addition of a few complementary colors. With patients typically spending several minutes taking a 3D scan, the intention was to create a dreamy environment to help take their mind somewhere else, and brighten the experience.
