Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Dr. Mehta decided to become a dentist while completing her undergraduate studies at Purdue University because she had such good experiences with her own pediatric dentist as a child. She also loved her science courses and working with her hands, so naturally, it was a great fit!

Dr. Mehta’s path stems from a deep appreciation for the intricate and meticulous nature of endodontic treatment and the satisfaction from quickly alleviating dental pain. She’s dedicated to continuous learning, staying curious and humble as she seeks and applies the latest evidence-based endodontics to ensure the highest success rates for her patients. Integrity, competence, and genuine care for each case while recognizing the connection between oral and overall health are the heart of her practice.

Originally from South Bend, Indiana, Dr. Mehta is a very determined person, persistent about finding the right answers and giving the best care and treatment options for her patients.

Whenever she isn’t at the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, going golfing (rather, walking with her friends and hitting the ball once in a while, with the hardest part being actually finding the ball), yoga, hiking, reading, plant-based eating, nature, and going on spontaneous adventures.
